This course is designed for those who are truly passionate about great coffee and eagerly want to understand Barista skills. During the Barista Course, the participants will have great fun brewing different methods and tasting different coffees. Upon completion of the course, the participants should be able to understand the key determining factors to the processes of grinding, brewing, and presentation of coffee.

  • The difference processing methods and degassing periods of fresh coffee
  • The parts of the main parts of the grinder
  • The importance of freshness of milk
  • The technique to produce correct milk-textures
  • The key problems of the grinder
  • The techniques of ‘free pour’ a simple and consistent latte art pattern
  • Correct milk temperatures and the pouring techniques for producing Cappuccinos and lattes.
  • The basic foundation to safety and hygiene when using espresso machines and cleaning chemicals.
  • Analysis of key equipment used and best layout for a proper workspace
  • The importance of maintaining a hygienic and organized workplace.
  • The steps to maintaining a clean workstation when preparing and serving espresso beverage and more.
